Terms of Use

1. The service

TapDish helps you save and cook from recipes, including recipes created from social video links, ingredients you list, or content you enter manually. Features may change over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your country to use TapDish. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, you may only use the app with a parent or guardian’s permission as required by local law.

3. Accounts

You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Apple ID secure. Contact haris.code.v@gmail.com if you believe your account was used without permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TapDish for unlawful purposes.
• Submit links or content you do not have the right to use, or that violate another platform’s terms.
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape abusively, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a deceptive way.
• Use the service to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of recipes and other content you create or save in TapDish. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (including AI structuring, storage, and syncing across your devices).

Social videos and captions remain owned by their creators and platforms. TapDish does not claim ownership of third-party videos. Extracted recipes are convenience summaries for personal cooking use and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

6. AI-generated and extracted recipes

Recipes produced from links, transcripts, comments, or ingredient lists are generated or structured automatically. They may contain errors. Always use your own judgment for food safety, allergies, cooking times, and temperatures. TapDish is not a substitute for professional culinary or medical advice.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

TapDish may offer a free tier with limits and a paid subscription (TapDish+). Prices are shown in the app and charged through Apple. Billing, renewals, trials, and cancellations are handled by Apple under your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are subject to Apple’s policies.

8. Intellectual property

The TapDish name, branding, app design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or redistribute the app except as allowed by Apple’s App Store terms.

9. Third-party services

TapDish relies on third parties (for example Apple, RevenueCat, hosting providers, AI providers, and analytics). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes that affect features.

10. Disclaimer

TapDish is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that recipes will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TapDish and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for TapDish+ in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

12. Termination

You may stop using TapDish at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations) will survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we post revisions.
